We believe children with disabilities should thrive. Here’s what we’re doing about it.
According to the World Health Organization, between 90 – 150 million children in the world are disabled. For many, the lack of medical treatment and mobility devices compounds the challenges they face making daily life a struggle. At the Disabled Children’s Fund, we think every disabled child should be empowered to thrive.
We serve in three ways:
Medical Treatment, Mobility Devices & Physical Therapy Programs
We work side-by-side with in-country partners to provide medical services, mobility devices and other life changing resources desperately needed in communities.
Exceptional Family Member Program
We support our U.S. military families who have children with special needs by providing “quality of life” programs. We strive to reduce the struggle for those who serve our country.
Special Campaigns
We believe disabled children, and their families, need extraordinary help when times are far from ordinary, such as the COVID-19 global crisis.
