This picture was taken at the cargo facility at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta before being loaded onto a Turkish Airlines plane for Istanbul, and then to Delhi before arriving in Balingir.
With the Delta variant of Covid-19 running rampant, Disabled Children’s Fund (DCF) in partnership with Supreme Task International, SOS International and Feed the Hungry, was able to ship 14 pallets of needed supplies to India.
The 14 cargo pallets flown to that embattled nation included: 7,000 lbs of ventilators, oxygenators and oxygen tanks, and 17,000 pieces of PPE for the hospital staff in the city of Balangir. This health center offers pediatric surgeries (at no cost) to correct clubfoot and cleft palate disabilities with over 100 such operations done so far. That equates to young lives changed exponentially.
