Our Mission
Disabled Children’s Fund (DCF) is a humanitarian organization with a global mission of bringing medical treatment, mobility devices, and physical therapy programs to disabled children in need, regardless of geography and culture. We believe every child deserves a chance to thrive.
We know that giving can often be confusing when people do not know where their money is going. To increase transparency, we illustrate ways donation dollars are being directed. That’s why Disabled Children’s Fund has been certified by America’s Best Charities. When it comes to charitable giving, we meet the rigor and high standards associated with the best.
In simple terms, where there is a disabled child living in perilous conditions, a community in distress as in COVID-19, or an American military family struggling with ways to fund those items not covered by taxpayer dollars, we step in. We provide for children and their families in tangible ways – a wheelchair to gain mobility, physical therapy to improve function, medical treatment to fight devastating diseases, and even help with respite care.
How is My Donation Used?
Medical Treatment, Mobility Devices & Physical Therapy Programs
We work side-by-side with in-country partners to provide medical services, mobility devices and other life changing resources desperately needed in communities.
Exceptional Family Member Program
We support our U.S. military families, who have children with special needs, by providing “quality of life” programs. We strive to reduce the struggle for those who serve our country.
Special Campaigns
We truly believe that children with disabilities, and their families, need extraordinary help in times that are far from ordinary. The current COVID-19 global crisis underscores this need.
